The short version: until we ship version 1.0, the first 15 users in every ByeBloat workspace pay $29.99 per user. Once. Not per month. Not per year. Once. Those seats are grandfathered for the life of the product.
Why we’re doing this
Two reasons. First, we want feedback from teams that have actually paid for software, not from teams that signed up for a free trial and never opened the second tab. A $29.99 check is small enough to be painless and big enough to be real.
Second, we want a small group of customers who are bought in for the long run. The grandfathered price is our way of saying: if you bet on us in year one, we are not going to repaint the price tag in year three.
How it works
- Sign up at
byebloat.com/sign-up. You get a workspace and access to the products that are live today. - Add up to 15 teammates from your workspace settings. Each seat is a one-time
$29.99. - Those 15 seats are yours, forever, at that price — even after we raise prices for new customers.
- Seat 16 and beyond will be at whatever the standard price is when you add them.
What “forever” means
Forever means as long as the product exists and you keep the seat assigned to a real human. If a teammate leaves and you re-assign their seat to a new hire, the new hire inherits the founders price. If you cancel and come back six months later, you do not.
We will honor this even if it becomes inconvenient for us. The alternative is the kind of company we left a stable job to stop building.
How long is this open
Until we run out of founder slots or until 1.0 ships, whichever comes first. We will close the door publicly when it closes. There is no countdown timer on the marketing page because countdown timers are a dark pattern and we are trying not to be that.
